Transforming a Villa into a Family Home

Transforming a Villa into a Family Home

This was such an enjoyable project for me. I love the creativity of infusing design and modern styling to create a new style that blends the two seamlessly.

The Black and white colour scheme highlight this beautiful sandstone  return verandah villa.

Dramatic accents of black compliment this soft colour palate, and draw the eye to the decorative fireplace mantel; the main focal point of the room.  large scale patterned Mokum fabric bedhead mimic’s the beautiful pressed metal ceilings, emphasised by highlighting in white above the picture rail.

French doors with lead light windows above are a traditional feature in this contemporary styled Master Bedroom.

‘Every girl loves a shoe tower’ well thought out design for this walk in wardrobe and dressing room.

Stylish Master Ensuite bathroom, a relaxing retreat.

Children’s bedrooms can be fun by adding lots of elements, and mix it up….

A contemporary styled kitchen, accents of colour in flowers contrast with the grey tones in the polished concrete.

By adding colour in artwork, accessories and texture in floor rugs/hides, you can make a large open plan living room like this feel softer and warmer.

Entertaining is the key in this home with decked courtyard and granite paved poolside.

A blue Mosaic tiled swimming pool is perfect for summer entertaining for all the family.
